First Cut - It's the deepest, woah [Action/Voice] Backdated to this morning

[Another day dawns and it's normal enough for the village. People laughing, groaning as they wake, brushing their teeth, taking a shower, or sleeping in. Things that are normal enough for anyone that isn't nocturnal.

What might not be normal is the fact that there is, your bed, hammock, or wherever it is that you sleep, an elf.

A tanned, tattooed sleeping elf, all but cuddled up next to whoever's still in bed with him, or curled around a pillow if they've stepped out for the aforementioned shower. The exhausted thing is out cold, wings tucked up against his spine, fingers of one hand curled as though cupping the face of a lover. Or around the hilt of an absent knife. Care to wake him from his deep slumber? Perhaps with a kiss? Or a fist. Whichever comes first.

Later in the day a voice rich with laughter crackles across the network]

-nd it records voice as well? Marvelous! Ah, the wonders of this world shall never cease. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Zevran, Zev to my friends, and I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of a prime hunting ground. I've recently found my blades and find myself in need of an...exhausting diversion.

Ah, and he's melodramatic. But I have good news: room and board here is free, so you can sleep in a bed every night, and surely I'm not the only girl here who'll put up with you.

[She goes to the door and opens it.] After all, you're obnoxious, but you're pretty cute. Hungry?

Only if it pleases you. I can be completely serious if you like that instead, but then what fun is there to be had in that?

[Free room and board while trapped in this place. He could learn to like it, he supposes, especially if all the women are as lovely as Anita.]

I suppose I'll just have to try my luck, won't I? But for now- yes. I am positively ravenous. [He stands and puts on his saddest eyes.] Feed me?

[And more eye-rolling.] Come on, then. I have food in the kitchen, but there are restaurants if you don't feel like making something. I don't cook for home invaders.

[The stare gets a smile out of Grell, who takes quite a bit of pleasure in watching this pretty stranger look at themselves in the mirror. The painted on grin, however, gets a sigh and a dismissive wave of her hand as if she's chasing his thought away.]

Purchase isn't the word I'd use. Money isn't used here and most personal goods are left alone by virtue of the fact that our fellow "prisoners" are entirely too virtuous for their own good.

[Lupin is intent on just ignoring the elf--beyond the threatening haze and the feeling that he could sleep for another three hours, he didn't care. However, Luke's tone got him to glance over...]

Not even accidental home invaders?

[He chuckles and follows her, blinking for the first time at the set up of the room. It was...very different than what he was accustomed to. Materials, the styling of the furniture. Very, very odd. It only lends further credence to what Anita's told him, so he tries not to think much of it.]

We've a distinct lack of rouges and scoundrels here? Such a pity. [Then again, it meant there were more individuals of virtue that he might tease. Or tempt. Hmmm.]

That is one less thing I need worry about, then. I should hope no one fancies my blades and takes them- they are a little venomous at the moment.

Indeed. A little more trouble could make this place so much more interesting for me. [Shrug, sigh, boring people are boring, but they're at least good at getting themselves good and dead.]

Most people are very good at not touching what does not belong to them. [She eyes the stranger.] Unlike some. So, do I get a name to go with the scandalous way you woke me this morning?

[Her blush deepens with her frustration. She is almost tempted to make a dash for her weapons, nakedness be damned and force him out of her room with her bells but...no, that would be irresponsible. Still, she is not pleased with you, Mr. Bed Intruder.

Which brings her to another question.]

I was gone for not ten minutes, where did you even come from?

[Tsuzuki blinks rapidly, but that is the only reaction that betrays he's surprised by how Zevran looks like. Even here, pointy ears and tattoos aren't that common.]

Well, there's plenty of things you can do around here that's a lot safer. [But those are like work, and the less said about work is better. At least there's more than one bar in Luceti, which makes post-work hours far more enjoyable.]

And you won't run the risk of angering Moro, which is a big plus.

Not even accidental ones, especially not first thing in the morning. [Oblivious to his thoughts, Anita leads the way to her front door and out into the hall.] So what'll it be, in or out?

[Gambit ignores that pass made and instead picks up his journal and tosses it over towards the idiot sitting in his bed. It's a small wonder he doesn't charge it before throwing it. He's honestly a little surprised with himself that he doesn't.]

You got one'a these too, somewhere 'round here. Got all the answers you need. [After a beat of considering telling him to get the hell out again, he instead shakes his head and goes to grab a pair of pants. Shirt is optional, he's just. Getting out of here.] Hate to burst your bubble, ami, but you ain't got a partner for anythin'.

[Luke nods at Lupin and then to the stranger]

Sir. We're not worried about you stealing them. More, we need to explain this situation.

Mmm. Safe is not exactly something I relish, Ser, it is comfortable enough, but boring.

[Danger and excitement went hand in hand after all.]

Moro? Who is this Moro?

Would you please? He wasn't terribly informative before he tried to kill me. [He shrinks away from Lupin and takes a half step closer to Luke.]

[Facepalm. Lupin flops back into his bed--let the elf run to Luke, and let the Jedi deal with the act. He just wanted to sleep.]

Just cut the act, would you? It was a miscommunication--and you were in my bed.

She's the wolf goddess that lives out there. She can get upset if she sees people turn up in her space.

I'm sorry, man. I didn't mean to say you weren't real---just.. not where I'm from. Either that or you all hide really, really well. I mean, we had writers like Tolkien who spun amazing stories about you and stuff.

[He'll ramble on like this forever if he's not stopped.]

Excuse me?

[At the moment, she's still working to get herself out of the sheet she rolled out with. Her scrambling looks funny coupled with her harsh words, no doubt.]

You show up in my room in my bed without asking [oh god PLEASE let it have been without asking] and you think I owe you favors, here?

[And then the realization that she's...being kind of loud, here. Please let the housemates be out/still sleeping.....]

[Luke gives the elf a raised eyebrow look and nods towards the door.]

Lupin, sleep. You, outside.

[Saori is napping quietly, dozing soundlessly in the rather oversized bed that'd been in her room in House 51. She'd collapsed into it the night before, her dress having been changed into a light, incredibly thin sleeping robe. She preferred simple, loose fitting things that one could slide into and our of easily.

As the first light of dawn peeks through the windowsill, Zevran may be surprised to find himself actually being hugged by the dozing divinity. She's wrapped her arms around him, her impossibly strong musculature unflinching.

You've just been caught by a woman who you figure can crush your skull without a problem. What Do, Zevran? What Do?]

[Well...isn't this just awkward...a strange, half naked man in bed next to one of the most temperamental superheroines in her world. The married one, at that...

Susan wakes up with a start the moment she feels any sort of touching going on. That is to say...when your hands start roaming and you start cuddling...she's already awake. Thankfully she's in a robe. Sadly? Its not covering her too well. More's the pity.]

R...r....eed?

[Then she sees you. And glares. An impenetrable barrier of force surrounds you, Zev, and suddenly you're flying across the room while an irate Invisible Woman just...disappears.]

WHO THE !@#$% ARE YOU!?

My, my...you must be full of energy, then. I don't really have another suggestion, but I thought someone should inform you that the animals here are capable of talking...it really is the strangest thing. [Because everything else is normal.]

[Oh. That's not a very cute voice. Panda lets that sink in for a minute, then opens his eyes to see Zevran on the floor.

Well.

Panda stands up, walks to the bathroom, and starts to wash his gigantic paws. This is gross, sleeping with a man is gross, why couldn't it have been a cute fan? The implications of this action should be clear, especially considering how long he keeps his paws under the water. And then—]

Why meeeeeeeeee?!

Yes Ser.

[Zev ducks his head and steps out into the hall.]
