relictusdeus: (Isaac and Abel)

[Welcome to what is both a sensual bedroom (when the elf wakes, he shall notice the curtained, four-poster bed he is dozing in, complete with plush throw pillows) and a study. Imagine the Forgemaster’s surprise to see, upon reentering this private space, someone there – and someone who wasn’t Julia. Adrenaline surges through him, his pulse quickening in an instant. Once his initial astonishment fades, however, a fierce anger roils inside him at having failed to sense this trespasser – and this he projects onto the stranger.

Such a bold creature, thinking it wise to creep into his den. Further inspection reveals that his front door is bolted shut, untouched from last night.

Is this Malnosso trickery, a trap on the stranger’s part, or an accident? Either way, it would be a regrettable mistake on the other’s part, Isaac muses even if Zevran hadn’t eaten his porridge or broke his throne chair. He makes his approach from the threshold with a dagger in his right boot, slow and stalking, not quite daring to assume the fellow is genuinely asleep. If he is, however, Rasetz shall have the honours of drawing near and rousing him.

After a moment’s concentration, the devil in verdigrised armour plating is willed into existence with a flash of light. It straightens out of a crouch and poises for attack, its old blade extended and blue, flame-like wisps orbiting around its form.

Awaiting command.
