For a moment he doesn't quite catch that he isn't alone in the woods. His head is still fuzzy, his mind not entirely settled now that he's back. It's soothing to be in the woods at least. The sound and feel of the forest in spring isn't exactly nostalgic but it is familiar enough for him to feel a little more real. A little more tangible. It's when he has to sidestep a downed limb that he sees her. Locks up for a moment, and then smiles.
