A great deal of his uncertainty fades out entirely at the tears. Weeping over his appearance. Grieving him, as she must have when he'd died. Hadn't he promised to be careful? To come back in one piece? Well...he'd managed the last to some extent. He shakes off the remainder of the veil and muzziness that had him blankly pleasant and walks to her, pulling her into a tight embrace.
